Are you a recent HR or Organisational Master’s graduate in Denmark that might also have some insights in how an organisation operates with relevant hands-on experience? We are looking for a structured and service-oriented HR Operations Officer to assist managers and employees across the organisation and who is motivated to define smarter ways of working that can make GAME an even better workplace!

GAME has in recent years experienced a significant scaling in its activities both in Denmark and internationally. This development is prompting GAME to hire a full-time HR Operations Officer that can deliver HR services to its colleagues and who has a pro-active approach that will allow GAME to continue developing as a growing organisation.

ABOUT THE POSITION
This is an early-career role with development potential. You will be mainly responsible for supporting and maintaining core HR processes, ensuring they are delivered consistently, efficiently, and with a strong service mindset. The position will equally allow you to take on a more independent role in day-to-day HR operations and the possibility to grow and work with the organisation’s development while contributing to the ongoing standardization of our processes.

HR Operations:

  • Manage and support the HR employee lifecycle: from recruitment, contracts, onboarding, payroll and benefits coordination to offboarding
  • Ensure HR systems are updated and accurate
  • Handle day-to-day HR queries and from employees and managers
  • Provide guidance on “how things work” related to HR processes
  • Keep things compliant according to Danish law, documented, and running on time

People & Culture:

  • Support managers related to people management e.g performance and development plans
  • Possibility of developing smaller workshops for managers
  • Culture & employee engagement, e.g. well-being, organisational values and surveys
  • Translate HR data into reporting material for decision-making

Process Coordination & Standardisation:

  • Support the development and documentation of HR processes
  • Ensure processes are followed consistently across GAME
  • Identify and raise inefficiencies or recurring issues
  • Support in developing improvements (e.g. templates, system usage, intranet)

WE OFFER

  • A dynamic organisation with inclusion, sustainability, innovation, and informal professionalism as strong values.
  • A working day that varies and allows you to work across different areas of responsibility
  • A place where you can put your capabilities to work and a chance to learn and grow, as we believe in talent development for each and every employee.
  • A strong focus on work-life balance with monthly 1-on-1 talks to check the temperature
  • A pescetarian and fun lunch break with colleagues across the organisation, which at times ends with basketball shootouts at our facilities
  • Seven weeks of vacation per year and the option to work from home

WE EXPECT YOU

  • Have a master’s degree or equivalent experience in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration, or similar
  • Relevant practical experience from an internship or student assistant role within HR
  • Strong interest in HR operations and process improvement
  • Pro-active, structured, detail-oriented, and focused on quality and consistency
  • Service-minded with strong communication skills
  • Comfortable interacting with managers and supporting day-to-day HR matters
  • Able to work independently while knowing when to seek for input
  • Knowing Street Sports and Street Culture considered an advantage
  • Proficiency in Danish & English

WORKPLACE
The position will be based at one of our four existing GAME Houses in Denmark: GAME Aalborg, GAME Viborg, GAME Esbjerg, or GAME Copenhagen.
