As part of our digital transformation, we are strengthening our cybersecurity capabilities and looking for a hands-on IT Security Engineer to help protect our business and support compliance with regulations such as NIS2 and CER.

The Role
As an IT Security Engineer, you will operate, improve, and scale our security capabilities, with a strong focus on the Microsoft security ecosystem.

You will serve as the technical backbone of the security function, working across the security team, Enterprise Architecture, IT Operations, and product teams to improve detections, response, and the effective use of our security tooling.

Key Responsibilities
This is an important and challenging rule. Your key responsibilities are:

• Monitor, investigate, and respond to security incidents across endpoints, identity, and cloud environments
• Improve detections, reduce false positives, and maintain effective incident response playbooks
• Operate and enhance our Microsoft security stack, including Defender, Sentinel, Entra ID, and Purview
• Expand logging, monitoring, alerting, and automation across the environment
• Implement and maintain security controls, baselines, hardening standards, and vulnerability remediation activities
• Strengthen identity security and governance in Entra ID, including Conditional Access, RBAC, and lifecycle processes
• Contribute to the secure design and implementation of IT solutions, integrations, and Azure cloud initiatives
• Embed security-by-design principles and collaborate across Security, Enterprise Architecture, IT Operations, and product teams

Your Background
We are looking for a profile with experience in a hands-on cybersecurity engineering or oprerations role. We are looking for the following:

• Strong experience with the Microsoft security ecosystem, including Microsoft Defender, Microsoft Sentinel, Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD)
• Experience in security operations, incident response, and monitoring
• Solid understanding of endpoint and identity security, Cloud security (Azure preferred) and vulnerability management
• Familiarity with frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, or CIS
• Experience in regulated environments (e.g., NIS2, GDPR) is an advantage
• Scripting or automation skills (PowerShell, Python, etc.) are desirable
