Would you like to turn ESG data into insight, reporting, and better decision-making across an international company? This is an opportunity to join Fertin Pharma’s ESG & Sustainability team in a role that combines analytical depth with a genuine sustainability agenda.

The position is an on-site position based in Vejle, Denmark. Please note that we are only considering candidates who are currently residing in Denmark and have a valid work permit.

As ESG Data Specialist, you will learn and drive ESG data processes, tools, and reporting across Fertin Pharma’s global entities. The role is centred on data development, analysis, and reporting, with project support as a secondary development path.

You will report to the Senior ESG Manager in a small, strategically positioned team. That means broad exposure across the business, close collaboration with colleagues, and a work environment where knowledge sharing, team orientation, and a growth mindset matter.

A role with real impact across ESG data, reporting, and project support

In this role, you will help build structure, quality, and transparency around ESG data in an area of growing strategic importance. It is a strong opportunity for a junior-to-mid specialist who wants to deepen analytical expertise while growing through cross-functional collaboration.

Your work will include ESG data collection and analysis, reporting, and collaboration across the organization and its value chain. English proficiency on a business level is important.

Your main responsibilities will include:
• Support ESG data collection, validation, and analysis across the organization
• Help identify relevant ESG data areas and improve data quality, consistency, and documentation
• Prepare analyses and presentations that explain ESG performance, and supports projects and decision-making
• Contribute to annual sustainability reporting, including CSRD-related data collection, quality checks, and analysis
• Collect and structure data from legal entities to support CO2 accounting in line with the Greenhouse Gas Protocol
• Provide data inputs and insights that support ESG projects, process improvements, and internal decision-making

A strong analytical profile with curiosity for ESG and sustainability

We are looking for someone who is motivated by working with data in a meaningful context and interested in ESG and sustainability. You are analytical and structured, but also collaborative, team-oriented, and comfortable collaborating across functions.

This role is well suited to a junior-to-mid specialist with a solid foundation and room to grow. You may come from a similar role or bring relevant academic training combined with early-career experience. In return, you can expect close support from a team that shares knowledge and works together across responsibilities. Ideally, you have experience or interest in:
• Data handling, reporting, analysis, or process coordination
• Structured data, data quality, and documentation
• ESG, sustainability, and non-financial reporting
• Collaboration across functions and communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Your background and qualifications include:
• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Sustainability, Data Analytics, or a similar relevant field
• MS Office skills in Excel, PowerPoint, CoPilot
• Strong analytical skills and a structured approach to working with data
• The ability to collaborate across functions and communicate clearly in an international organization
• Fluency in spoken and written English
