We are looking for a commercially minded Assistant Merchandise Planner to join our Commercial Planning Department. As our Assistant Merchandise Planner, you will support merchandising performance by maintaining reports, forecasts, and trading routines. You will contribute to planning tasks and product execution and manage small categories or groups of products. You will be based at our headquarters on Strandgade in the heart of Copenhagen, where you will report directly to a Head of Merchandise Planning.

This is the job

• Support item level forecasting
• Ensure category ranges are accurately planned, launched, and managed throughout their lifecycle.
• Support weekly and seasonal performance reviews and develop actions to improve results.
• Support the development of tools, data, and reporting accuracy to support better decision-making
• Supporting seasonal reviews and insight creation to develop future assortments
• Create item level forecasts at SKU level for core and campaign
• Support order forecasting for core and campaign
• Checking reports for core re-orders and adjusting forecasts as required
• Support weekly trading, delivering clear actions that drive immediate results.
• Monitor stock deliveries and execution reports and escalate issues for mitigation
• Support the creation and quality and accuracy of performance reports
• Create clear, concise trading summaries
• Help develop reporting and ensure timely creation of regular reports
• Support data quality checking to ensure successful reporting and execution

This is you

• An interest in retail and a desire for a career in Merchandise Planning. • Strong analytical and numeric abilities combined with strong attention to details. • Ability to prioritise tasks to ensure key deadlines are achieved. • Basic Excel is a must, intermediate preferred. • Capable to work with fluent English. • Degree in related disciplines or educated in the field could be an advantage.
