We are looking for a new Senior Strategy Consultant to join the Strategy Office in Novo Holdings at our headquarters in Copenhagen to support the continued ambitious strategy development of Novo Holdings, a world-leading investor in people’s health and the sustainability of society and the planet.

As a Senior Strategy Consultant, you will be involved in the development of the group-level strategy and be a strategic business partner with direct interface to our investment areas.

The Job
The role as Senior Strategy Consultant offers significant professional and personal development opportunities. Reporting to and working closely with a Strategy Manager in the Strategy Office, you will:

Key areas of responsibility include:

• Supporting the continuous refinement of the group-level strategy and serving as a strategic thought partner for key stakeholders
• Contributing to Novo Holdings’ asset allocation and portfolio construction workstream
• Driving Investment Area Strategy Updates for the Board of Directors in collaboration with investment area heads
• Building and institutionalizing a knowledge base covering industry, technology, investment modality, and asset class trends
• Driving and managing cross-functional strategic initiatives and projects
• Supporting the analytical and methodological foundation for strategy and asset allocation work

The role involves occasional travel to our international offices and in connection with strategy workshops.

Professional & Personal Qualifications
We look for a candidate with the following qualifications:

• 2-4 years of full-time experience post-graduation from a top-tier management consultancy firm, corporate equivalent or investment banking
• Relevant Master’s degree or PhD in Business, Finance, Economics, technical, or natural sciences, with excellent academic results
• Experience in strategy development
• Fundamental understanding of asset allocation and portfolio construction, incl. ability to handle complex financial and market analytics
• Strong analytical skills including experience in Python or RStudio and the consultancy toolbox (Excel, PowerPoint)
• Ability to drive workstreams independently and interact with senior stakeholders
• Excellent communication skills in English, written and verbal
• Curious and ambitious with a strong drive; a team player motivated by building strong relationships in a diverse culture
