We are looking for a Treasury Analyst to join our Group Finance team in Copenhagen. This is an exciting opportunity for a recent graduate or someone with a couple of years of experience who wants to build a career within Treasury and Corporate Finance in an international retail company.
About the role
As Treasury Analyst, you will play an important role in supporting our liquidity management, foreign exchange risk management, treasury reporting, and financing activities. You will work closely with colleagues across Finance and gain exposure to a wide range of treasury disciplines while contributing to the continued development of our Treasury function.
You will become part of Group Finance at our headquarters in Copenhagen and report to our Senior Treasury Manager. As part of a global retail business, Group Finance supports colleagues and markets across Flying Tiger Copenhagen. The team includes Treasury, Financial Planning & Analysis, Business Controlling, Accounting and our Finance Shared Service Center. This gives you a unique opportunity to build a broad understanding of Finance while working closely with talented colleagues across different disciplines and countries.
Your key responsibilities
As our new Treasury Analyst, you will support a broad range of treasury activities and gain exposure to key areas of corporate treasury in an international business.
Your tasks will include:
- Preparing liquidity forecasts and supporting the day-to-day management of the company’s cash position and liquidity.
- Monitoring foreign exchange exposures and supporting the execution of FX hedging activities in accordance with Treasury Policy.
- Supporting compliance with financing agreements, including monitoring of financial covenants and related reporting.
- Preparing treasury reporting for internal and external stakeholders, including banks, auditors and management.
- Participating in treasury-related analyses, projects and continuous improvement initiatives aimed at strengthening processes, reporting and controls.
As you grow in the role, you will have the opportunity to take on increased responsibility and contribute to the ongoing development of the Treasury function.
What you bring
We imagine that you have:
- M.Sc. degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration or a related field.
- Recently graduated or up to 2 years of relevant experience within Treasury, Corporate Finance, FP&A, Banking or a related area.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills.
- Solid Excel skills and an interest in working with data and financial modelling.
- Fluency in written and spoken English.
- Experience with Power BI, ERP systems or Treasury Management Systems is considered an advantage but is not required.
