Business Intelligence Specialist
THE OPPORTUNITY
As the leading Nordic online department store - 1,600+ brands, 14 markets, one of the world's most automated fulfilment centres - data powers every decision we make at Boozt.
We're hiring two new colleagues across our BI function: one in our Logistics Reporting & Analytics (Warehouse & operations) and in our Commercial Business Partner Team.
Different teams, different challenges, one thing in common: your data insights help shape smarter decisions and turn them into real business impact.
Logistics Reporting & Analytics: Early Career · Operations-focused
Learn the business from the ground up. Every order that reaches a customer is the result of an efficient supply chain, a distribution network, and a customer service operation working in sync. You'll sit close to the warehouse floor, fulfilment, returns, and last mile, turning operational data into dashboards and analyses that help teams move faster and smarter.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Build, develop, and maintain QlikCloud apps end to end - from data load and modelling to the dashboards teams use every day
- Write and optimise load scripts, build data models, and keep apps fast and reliable as data volumes grow
- Run ad hoc analysis in Qlik to answer operational questions quickly when they come up
- Turn requirements from distribution, supply chain, and customer service teams into well-built, reusable reporting
- Maintain and improve our existing Qlik reporting - refactoring, fixing, and extending what's already there
- Work with our data and engineering teams on data quality and the pipelines that feed Qlik (BigQuery)
YOUR PROFILE
- 2> years in a BI, analytics data role - internships, thesis work, and student jobs count
- Comfortable with SQL and Qlik scripting / data modelling, or genuinely motivated to get there fast
- Hands-on with QlikCloud, or able to learn it quickly (experience with Power BI, Tableau, or Looker transfers well; we use Qlik with BigQuery)
- You move from "here's the data" to "here's what we should build"
- Curious about how the business actually works, not just the numbers it produces
Commercial Business Partner Team: Mid-level · Engineering-focused
Work with large and complex datasets to build the data foundation behind key commercial decisions. You'll design and maintain the data models, pipelines, and BigQuery architecture that our commercial teams rely on to understand performance, set priorities, and identify growth opportunities. Your work powers high-impact commercial decisions.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Design and maintain the BigQuery data infrastructure powering commercial reporting
- Develop Qlik Sense scripts and maintain dashboards and lead our migration to Qlik Cloud
- Integrate data from multiple source systems using SQL, including one-off data pulls when needed
- Document data models, calculations, and mappings so the work stays transparent and maintainable
- Partner with analysts and business partners to turn business requirements into robust data products
YOUR PROFILE
- 2+
- Strong SQL and scripting skills, with hands-on experience integrating data from multiple source systems
- Proactive and driving, you push work forward without waiting to be told
- Comfortable translating non-technical requirements into technical solutions
- Bachelor's in computer science, information systems, or a related field; fluent English
- Proven Qlik experience is a plus
The process runs over the summer - interviews may first take place in August.
