Scantox Neuro GmbH is an internationally operating contract research organization in the preclinical sector. For more than 20 years, we have successfully conducted studies with a focus on neurodegeneration. For our site in Grambach near Graz, Austria, we are looking for a:

Lab Technician – Cell Culture (m/f/d)
You will work in the preclinical development of novel therapeutic approaches for neurodegenerative diseases.

Your Main Responsibilities

• Preparation, cultivation, and treatment of:
  • Primary cells
  • Cell lines
  • Organotypic slices
  • Induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs)
• Performing a wide range of cell-based assays
• Immunocytochemistry
• Establishment of new methods
• Accurate documentation of experimental procedures
• Review and quality control of data and analyses
• Participation in laboratory organization and management
• Writing and editing SOPs, validation documents, risk assessments, and related documentation

Your Profile

• Completed education in Biomedical Analytics, Clinical Trial Assistance (CTA), Chemical Laboratory Technology, or a comparable field
• Previous professional experience is an advantage
• Independent and conscientious working style
• Flexible, reliable, and a strong team player
• Ability to follow protocols (SOPs, study plans) precisely and document experiments carefully
• Proficient in the use of computer applications (MS Office and other software)
• Good German and English language skills
• Continuous willingness to learn and develop new skills

For this position, based on full-time employment (40 hours per week), the minimum gross monthly salary according to the applicable collective agreement is EUR 2,528.04 (paid 14 times per year). Depending on qualifications and experience, a higher salary is possible.
