Full Stack Developer
BØRNEfonden
Do you want to build modern digital solutions using .NET and AI in an organisation that makes a real difference for children around the world?
We are looking for a skilled and pragmatic Full Stack Developer to help build and improve web applications, APIs, and integrations on the Microsoft platform. You will work across both user-facing functionality and backend services, and help explore how AI can be used responsibly to improve internal processes, digital products, and developer productivity.
You will be part of our digital team and collaborate closely with colleagues across the organisation. You will help translate organisational needs into useful, reliable digital solutions in support of PlanBørnefonden’s mission.
About the position
As a Full Stack Developer, you will take a hands-on role in developing modern web applications and services based on the Microsoft stack. You will contribute code, help make practical technical design decisions, and work closely with both technical and non-technical colleagues.
You will:
- Design, develop, and maintain .NET-based web applications, APIs, and services across both frontend and backend
- Develop user-facing functionality using modern .NET web technologies
- Build and maintain integrations between internal systems, websites, data sources, and partner platforms
- Work with modern development tools, version control, testing, and deployment practices
- Help improve the reliability, security, and maintainability of our applications
- Explore and implement practical AI use cases, such as automation, data enrichment, and intelligent features in applications
- Use and evaluate AI-assisted development tools and services to improve solution quality and development workflows
- Contribute to code quality, documentation, and shared technical standards
This role is based at our Copenhagen office. We expect you to be physically present, especially during the initial period, to build strong collaboration and understanding of our organisation. Over time, there will be flexibility for remote work.
We imagine that you:
- Have solid experience as a Full Stack Developer or Software Developer, preferably with .NET
- Have experience building web applications, APIs, and integrations
- Are comfortable working across both frontend and backend development
- Are comfortable working with SQL and structured data
- Are interested in AI in a development context, whether through services, APIs, or developer tools
- Are curious, pragmatic, and able to separate real AI value from hype
- Are structured, collaborative, and able to translate business needs into technical solutions
- Thrive in a role that combines hands-on development with solving business challenges through technology
- Are fluent in English, written and spoken. Danish is an advantage but not a requirement
