Job Description

We are excited to offer an opportunity for a curious, commercially minded Data Expert to help shape the future of marketing analytics at the LEGO Group. Based in our Copenhagen or Billund office, this role sits within the Global Paid Media Performance Analytics team and plays a key role in building the data foundations, analytical models, and scalable pipelines that enable better business decisions across our global marketing organisation.

Reporting to the Global Head of Paid Media Performance Analytics, you do not need a paid media background. Instead, we're looking for someone with strong data and analytics expertise who enjoys solving complex data challenges, building robust data pipelines, and translating data into meaningful business insights.

Core Responsibilities
Build scalable data solutions – Design, develop and maintain robust data pipelines, analytical datasets and scalable data products that support global marketing measurement and business decision-making.

Develop advanced analytics – Apply statistical methods, analytical techniques and experimentation to uncover insights and improve how marketing performance is measured.

Create trusted data foundations – Partner with engineering and digital enablement teams to ensure high-quality, reliable and well-governed data that supports analytics across the organisation.

Bridge data and business – Translate complex datasets into actionable insights and collaborate with business stakeholders to define analytical requirements and solve commercial challenges.

Enable better decision-making – Develop reusable analytical frameworks, automation and reporting capabilities that improve efficiency and help teams make data-driven decisions.

Collaborate across functions – Work closely with analytics, technology, reporting and marketing teams to continuously improve data capabilities and deliver impactful solutions.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys building modern data solutions and solving complex analytical problems. You'll help establish the data infrastructure and analytical capabilities that enable better marketing measurement and commercial decision-making across the LEGO Group.

As part of the Global Paid Media Performance Analytics team, you'll bring strong technical expertise, a collaborative mindset and a passion for turning data into business value. While the team supports marketing performance, your focus will be on building the data capabilities that make advanced analytics possible.

Do you have what it takes?

  • Experience as a Data Expert, Analytics Engineer, Data Engineer or in a similar analytical role.
  • Strong experience building and maintaining scalable data pipelines and transforming complex datasets into reliable analytical products.
  • Advanced programming skills in Python and SQL.
  • Experience working with modern data platforms such as Databricks, Spark, Git, and cloud-based data environments.
  • Experience developing analytical models, automation and data workflows that improve business decision-making.
  • Strong understanding of data modelling, data quality and data governance principles.
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • A curious, problem-solving mindset with a passion for using data to create business impact.
  • Experience working with marketing or digital data is beneficial but not required.
  • English language proficiency, both written and spoken.
  • Ability to work three days per week from our Copenhagen or Billund office (with two days working from home).
