Main job tasks:
As a Electrical Engineer, you will work closely with your team to support technical solutions for EPC projects and tenders. You will be responsible for supporting the design and dimensioning of Low Voltage (LV) power systems, including AC and DC switchboards, UPS/Rectifier and Battery systems, Light Distribution, Small Power, Lightning Protection, Earthing/Bonding, Heat Tracing, Cables and Cableways throughout the construction process
Your key duties will include:
- Participate in worldwide Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT).
- Collaborate closely with vendors in the EPC projects to ensure prompt and accurate delivery of technical documentation for UPS and switchboards
- Close cooperation with other disciplines to gain a comprehensive understanding of system interfaces.
- Perform battery and load calculations as necessary to ensure accurate delivery from vendors.
- Close collaboration with procurement to ensure technical alignment during the RFQ phases.
- Ensure that the technical quality of vendor documentation for switchboard and UPS manufacturers is up to the required standards.
- Conduct a thorough evaluation of cables to ensure compliance with relevant standards and suitability for the designated area of use.
- Be part of the project team and contribute to the delivery of low voltage systems for EPC projects
Qualification/Experience:
We are seeking an engineer with a degree in electrical or a background in electrical systems. Ideally, the candidate should have practical experience working with LV systems, dimensioning, and possibly site work or similar hands-on experience.
The ideal candidate should be someone who can make technical decisions and set directions, while also being able to work effectively in a global team across countries. They should enjoy being part of a team and supporting their colleagues, and have a love for learning and a desire to go the extra mile with a positive attitude. Additionally, the candidate should carry an open mind and be able to work their way in. They should thrive on freedom under responsibility and flexible working hours.
The Practical stuff:
You work location will be Gdynia, Poland. As part of this job, you may be required to travel up to 30 days a year. Additionally, you may have the option to work from home on certain days during the month.
