You will work alongside our experienced international team to increase Rockstart’s investments portfolio value, in alignment with company strategy and Rockstart's purpose and mission. With the expected launch of our second Energy Fund and AgriFood Funds, this role represents a great opportunity for personal growth.

Key Responsibilities:
- Work alongside with the Partners and Rockstart team in the negotiation and closing of investment deals, ensuring investments are made in line with Rockstart’s criteria for successful follow-on investments.
- Support the investment team in collecting, analyzing and categorizing the portfolio based on qualitative and quantitative data to monitor performance with periodic reporting.
- Support the investment team in preparing and recommending capital allocation with the Partners.
- Support the investment team in preparing and drafting investment recommendations and documentation for the Investment Committee.
- Building networks and relationships throughout the venture capital ecosystem, syndicating follow-on investments and sharing dealflow with relevant investors.
- Researching companies and trends, to shape and refine fund investment strategy.
- Identify social issues where impact venture investment can help scale innovative solutions – including through analysis of tech-enabled impact business models.
- Work in a lean team and engage with Rockstart’s wider organisation to oversee deal pipeline processes and tools.

You are an experienced analyst or associate looking for the next exciting step. With a passion for working with mission driven founders and early stage startups, you like to connect with people, build trusting relationships across stakeholder groups and love to work in a team. As a person you are dedicated and take pride in owning processes and tasks. You gain energy from having focussed time when working from home, balanced with regular office days to reconnect with colleagues.

You enjoy deal making, you are able to independently drive and close deals at multiple stages of investment. Your ability to manage processes effectively allows you to shift focus between several topics without compromising on quality or efficiency.
You are humble and bring a positive attitude, open to learning and coaching with a solution orientated approach. You excel at driving workflows and know how to involve and collaborate with your team members.

Your skills and experience:
- 2+ years of relevant experience working with demonstrable VC (or related) transactions with end-to-end responsibility.
- Well-developed social and interpersonal skills, strong relationship management skills.
- Passion for early stage startups, with a desire to excel in the fields of venture capital and entrepreneurship.
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) in English.
Bonus points:
A great understanding or deep interest in the sustainability sector.
A masters degree in business, finance or economics or stellar commercial entrepreneurial experience building a VC backed startup.
An existing ecosystem and network of startups and mentors within the Denmark/Benelux/ Nordic Venture Community.

Remuneration: Based on experience.
