Join an international team
Within Global Quality, RA & Sustainability, Quality Competence Center, you will join 11 colleagues in the Sterilisation & Microbiology team. Together, we deliver solutions within sterilization and microbiology, for Coloplast products in the areas of Chronic Care, Wound Care and Consumer Care.

As part of the Microbiology team, you will work alongside colleagues in Microbiology laboratory, Humlebæk who support production and development activities at our Pilot Plant in Mørdrup.
Support in projects across product development and supply value stream

Dividing your time between product testing activities and hygiene related activities for clean rooms at the Pilot Plant, you will participate in the development of new products and maintenance of existing products in collaboration with quality assurance and production colleagues in Coloplast DK.

Specifically, you would carry out:
• Bioburden analysis of products and raw materials, including water analysis
• Hygiene measurements in clean rooms
• Media preparation and controls
• Co-ordination and follow-up on corrective actions for clean rooms in co-operation with production
• Training of production personnel in hygiene
• Validation of test methods, lab equipment and clean rooms
• Maintenance of calibration of laboratory equipment
• Identification of microorganisms

Scientific background and an interest in microbiological testing
• You are educated as a laboratory assistant (laborant), laboratory technician or bio analyst and have experience in or an interest in microbiological testing
• Ideally, you have experience in medical device /pharmaceutical industry or a related industry / testing laboratory
• You have knowledge of GMP/GLP and requirements of analytical documentation
• Preferably, you have knowledge of clean room production
• You speak and write English at a daily usage level
• Have experience or interest in training others

To succeed in this role, it is essential that you appreciate the importance of following instructions and procedures and enjoy taking a highly systematic and detail-oriented approach to your work. On a personal level, you are highly driven and know how to take ownership of your tasks and push an idea through. Being both patient and steadfast by nature, you are confident of your analytical skills and are capable of confidently documenting your results. Finally, your excellent skills enable you to collaborate with colleagues across levels and functions, while being flexible and can thrive in a dynamic and changing environment.
