COMMISSIONING ENGINEER

We are therefore looking for a Commissioning Engineer to join the System Integration & Commissioning department.

Your tasks

• On site management of commissioning projects worldwide and locally in Frederikshavn
• Project reporting
• Technical investigation and preparations before project start
• Ensure that the commissioning team works according to safety, quality and working instructions from the customer and VMS Group
• Work with a mindset of continuously improving conditions and procedures to facilitate future working processes
• Implementation of new products and documentation
• Provide technical support for colleagues and customer.
• Review tools, additional parts and consumables during projects.
• Expected travel days is approx. 75-90 days

Who are you?

• Extensive experience with service of marine diesel engines and/or gearboxes, thrusters, propulsion, deck equipment, steering gear, automation of marine equipment.
• Possess the ability to read and comprehend complex machinery or equipment manuals, translating technical instructions into practical actions.
• Steadfast commitment to overcome challenges.
• Ability to perform troubleshooting for automation and electrical systems
• You can work independently and in teams with different nationalities
• Education as marine or mechanical engineer, electrician or similar.
• Proficient English skills both orally and written.
