We are now looking for a Certification Manager for Drinking Water Installation and Plumbing Products (DWIP), who will ensure that materials, components, and products comply with the relevant legal requirements at both national and EU levels.
Job Description
As a Certification Manager, you will be responsible for the certification of customer materials and products in contact with drinking water. This role involves a high level of customer focus and solution orientation to ensure that projects are handled efficiently.
You will take on tasks such as technical assessments, planning inspections, and audits according to certification requirements. You will also represent Eurofins’ interests in external forums, ensuring our values and interests are communicated effectively. Your role will be to assess certification documents and develop certification strategies that align with customer needs.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Asessment and certification of drinking water installation and plumbing products
- Communicating with clients to ensure certification compliance
- Handling customer projects
- Optimize workflows and processes in the business line
- Collaborating on project plans and providing quotations for new certification projects
- Conducting occasional customer audits
- Keeping our service offerings up-to-date with industry development
- Participating in industry and regulatory meetings
- Representing Eurofins in external bodies such as Notified Body working groups and standards committees
- Traveling occasionally for customer or industry events
Qualifications
Professional qualifications
- Degree in Chemistry, Engineering (Mechanical/Industrial), or other relevant field
- Solid technical expertise related to certification services or customer industries
- Familiarity with quality standards such as ISO 17065 and ISO 9001
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to diverse audiences
- Strong organizational and planning skills
- Good understanding of international business relations
- Proficient in general IT systems, with experience using CRM, quotation tools, and MS Office applications
Personal qualifications
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively
- A customer-centric approach, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and a methodical approach to certification processes
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team
