Engineer Architect – Offshore Wind

We are looking for an Engineer Architect or Senior Engineer Architect to join our Renewables Engineering team in Aibel Haugesund. In this role, you will work with a multidisciplinary team to contribute to architectural engineering for large-scale offshore wind projects. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of shaping the future of renewables through innovative and collaborative engineering solutions.
About the position
As part of the team, you will contribute to the production of architectural drawings and documents and work closely with suppliers to ensure successful project execution. You will have the opportunity to work on studies, tenders, and both FEED and detailed engineering projects.
Responsibilities and tasks include
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team on large EPC projects, contributing to architectural engineering
- Produce architectural drawings and documents
- Work as a package responsible engineer (PRE) for architectural packages, ensuring coordination with suppliers
- Participate in tender work and studies
- Follow up on fabrication and ensure alignment with project requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in civil or structural engineering
- Experience within structural or civil design is an advantage, but recent graduates are encouraged to apply
- Knowledge of 3D modeling tools such as E3D and 2D tools like MicroStation is a plus
- Familiarity with DNV and international standards, with knowledge of Norwegian standards being beneficial

- Cooperative mindset, with positive attitude toward working in multicultural environment
- Ability of working independently with a detail-oriented approach, as well as effectively in a team
- Solid understanding of multidisciplinary project environments
- Committed to meeting deadlines and maintaining high-quality standards
- Proactive, open to seeking advice, and eager to share knowledge and experience
- Fluent in English, both written and verbal; knowledge of Norwegian is a plus
