Join our proactive Daily Banking Risk Partner team at Danske Bank, where your role will be crucial in safeguarding our financial solutions.
Our main goal is to closely collaborate with our business units to safeguard products, processes, systems, data, and services against various risks. We provide essential advice and support for risk assessments, daily risk queries, and product management. Our expertise is crucial in helping the business navigate in the complex landscape of risks for everyday banking experience within mobile bank, accounts, cards and payment needs etc.
We engage with a diverse range of stakeholders, from cross-functional teams focused on enhancing the banking experience to all 2nd and 3rd line functions such as Group Risk Management, Compliance and Internal Audit.
As a risk partner, you will be working with a variety of tasks
Your main responsibility will be to support and drive assessments on risks, controls, third party and GDPR for processes and products. We are looking for a pro-active partner to our business and development tribes, able to navigate the product/risk governance and finding solutions. You will also:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, identifying regulatory needs and driving process improvements.
- Advice and support on non-financial risk related matters including incident management
- Get an understanding of new tech and solutions such as GenAI and IT platforms both as a user and risk partner as we are adapting to our ever-evolving business
About you:
The role of a Business Risk Officer is rich with learning opportunities, and while experience in risk is beneficial, it's your personal drive, curiosity, and proactive attitude that are most critical. We hope that you:
- Holds a degree in business, audit, social sciences, or related fields and are ready to grow in the area of risk management
- Have some experience in the financial sector, whether in risk, banking, consultancy, or business development.
- Possess solid communication skills, an ability to work individually on multiple tasks and use knowledge and experience to solve problems
- Have an analytical mindset, focus on execution, and a structured approach with high attention to detail and the ability to adapt quickly to change
- Thrives in reaching out and building relationships with various stakeholders, showcasing a natural ability for proactive engagement and project management-skills.
We mainly communicate in English internally in Danske Bank; but it is an advantage if you master one of the Scandinavian languages with good proficiency.
