Newly established team – set to grow in Copenhagen
Located in our brand-new office space in the city center of Copenhagen, a short walk from the metro at Marmorkirken, you will become a part of a larger team of 50 Engineers, Architects and Testers - all working to ensure that our AI platform is the best of its kind in relation to data collection- and management.
You will together with the newly hired Project Manager, become a part of our newly established Insights team in Copenhagen, where the aim is to establish a scrum team of around 8 people – where you will become one of them.
SitaWare Insight is a modern microservice-based solution made up of primarily Angular and Java Spring Boot services. A variety of cloud-native components are used for supporting the environment, as it must be deployable to on-prem, private and public clouds. SitaWare Insight makes use of several technologies and frameworks including some of the following:
- Angular 15 (TypeScript, SCSS)
- Java 21 microservices using Spring Boot
- Docker on Kubernetes with Istio and Helm
- Kafka, PostgreSQL, Prometheus and Grafana
- Gradle and Bazel
- Linux and Bash scripting
- TeamCity, Bitbucket and JIRA

Being a Software Developer at Systematic
As a Software Developer in the Insights team, you have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in order to develop the platform that supports the future of AI-driven solutions. You will become part of designing and implementing new features to our existing software solution. Furthermore, you will participate in the agile development process in order to drizzle some innovation and new functionalities on top of your existing software, while we at the same time ensures that you keep developing your skillset as a developer.
Specifically, will you be responsible for the following things:
- Implement high quality software which makes a real difference for our customers.
- Write Feature Requirement Specifications.
- Develop and document code according to agile principles using Angular, Java, and other relevant technologies.
- Collaborating with other teams in CPH (other programs) and with teams in Aarhus and Bucharest.
A developer who wants to work with a software that makes a real difference
- We expect you to be recent graduate with a minimum of a BA or MA in a relevant field within the area of Computer Engineering or Computer Science.
- Backend development experience with Java and frontend experience with Angular.
- Professional proficiency in English, both verbal and written.
The boring practical stuff
Since we work with security classified systems, you will have to present a clean criminal record to be able to obtain security clearance and must not have lived outside a EU or NATO country for the past 7 years.
In the first period of your employment, you should expect travel activity to our HQ in Aarhus where we will make sure that you receive a great onboarding – both to Systematic but also to how we develop our software.
