Your role and responsibilities
At Robotics Research & Development, we strive to provide our customers with the most technically advanced and innovative robot solutions, enhancing the speed and accuracy of our systems. This project offers a unique opportunity to explore the capabilities, performance, and potential of new and future design tools to shape the future of electronic design. The primary goal of this thesis is to evaluate and compare the effectiveness of advanced AI tools used for circuit design, simulation, analysis, layout and/or similar. The student will conduct a comprehensive, in-depth analysis to determine the strengths, weaknesses, and potential applications of available and future tools. Details: • Period: January-June 2025 • Number of credits: 15-30 ECTS • Number of students for this thesis work: 1-2 • Location: Finnslätten, Västerås on-site Expected Outcomes: • A comprehensive evaluation report detailing the performance of the AI tools. • Insights into the practical applications and limitations of AI in electronic design. • Recommendations for further use of the tools. We expect you to do the thesis work independently while you excel in engagement, curiosity, and collaboration. You will have a dedicated supervisor to guide you and numerous opportunities to influence the direction of the project as you see fit. Qualifications for the role

  • M.Sc. Robotics, Electronics Engineering, Dependable systems, Engineering Physics or similar.
  • Strong interest in AI and Electronics design.
