Quality & Compliance Manager BOLIA

As BOLIA’s Quality & Compliance Manager, you will ensure that all products in the BOLIA range meet the highest quality standards and comply with relevant legal requirements across all BOLIA markets. You’ll work closely with suppliers to ensure compliance with BSCI, EUDR, FSC, and other guidelines. Your role will also involve optimizing packaging solutions to meet both legislative and environmental requirements. Additionally, you’ll oversee complaint procedures to minimize claims and will manage supplier communications through the Supplier Guideline and regular meetings. You’ll also conduct quality control follow-ups at our cross dock in Horsens and with external manufacturers across Europe.
You’ll report to the Range & Design Director and collaborate closely with Product Managers, the Sustainability Manager, and the Customer Care team to ensure high-quality, compliant products.
Daily tasks and responsibilities:
- Ensuring product quality, safety, and compliance across all BOLIA markets
- Conducting relevant product testing to maintain high quality standards
- Optimizing packaging to minimize claims and meet EPR (Extended Producer Responsibility) compliance
- Overseeing and improving complaint procedures and product quality controls
- Ensuring manufacturers adhere to BOLIA’s Supplier Guideline
- Continuously updating the Supplier Guideline to align with new strategies, goals, and legislation
- Participating in relevant projects with BOLIA and external manufacturers
- Overseeing BSCI, FSC, and similar sustainability initiatives throughout the supply chain

- Thrives in a fast-paced environment and is comfortable with making decisive actions
- Exhibits strong communication skills, capable of reporting, presenting, and collaborating with internal teams and external partners
- Embraces technology, effectively leveraging IT solutions and AI, with a solid understanding of tech developments within Quality and Compliance
- Is prepared for occasional travel days as part of the role
