IT Network Security Engineer

Satair A/S is growing and we are increasing our Infrastructure team! We’re looking for an additional colleague to assist with network and security operations.

What the job is …

This job covers operational disciplines within the global Satair network and security platforms

• Responsible for the following within network and security operations

- Daily operations

- L2/L3 incident handling
- Service request handling

• Keep our Cisco networks, WAN and Checkpoint firewall infrastructure operational.
• Respond to security alerts and remediate security vulnerabilities in a timely manner in cooperation with our colleagues in the Airbus SOC team.
• Assist with incident response planning and participate in security drills.
• Maintain detailed documentation of security incidents and resolutions.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest security threats and vulnerabilities.
• Become a part of an IT service driven organization and ensure keeping our technical documentation, CMDB, and knowledge articles up to date. You are familiar with ITSM tools.
• Participate in and/or drive larger tasks and projects within the realm of network and security platforms.
• Ensure maintenance of our CMDB, Knowledge Base articles and technical documentation.

You will be expected to be a part of our on-call duty that goes from Monday to Friday, currently every 4th to 5th week (depending on vacation/absence).

We expect a travel activity level of approx. 5-10 days per year. This is mainly when technical tasks require our presence on one of our sites.

What are we looking for? How much experience? What type of experience?

• Broad understanding of IT (hardware, software, network, communication, security)
• Operational experience with Cisco and/or Checkpoint firewalls
• Operational experience with Endpoint security, SIEM, IAM platforms
• 3-5 year experience in a similar Infrastructure role
• IT-related education (IT Technician/Engineer) or a Bachelor degree
• ITIL Foundation certified
• Experience working with ITSM systems
• Cloud experience would be a plus
• Fluent in English both written and verbally
• Written skills that demonstrates structure
• Can offer valid references to attest your skills/personality
