Novo Nordisk Pharmatech A/S (NNPR) is looking for a Packaging Scientist to drive activities within the area of primary, secondary and outer packaging materials. You will be part of our growing Contract Manufacturing team, which is part of NNPR Manufacturing & Supply Chain.
The position
As a Packaging Scientist, you can explore a variety of activities within your job. You will plan the tasks, simplify processes, and together with your colleagues handle our portfolio of materials for primary, secondary and outer packaging for new products. You will work independently and collaborate cross-functionally across our entire organisation.
You will have a chance to:
• Take responsibility within the area of our primary, secondary and outer packaging materials, ensuring their quality and compliance.
• Provide insights into e.g. various plastic materials in respect to their application and drive sustainable packaging solutions.
• Collect, analyse, and maintain packaging requirements and align those with industry standards.
• Stay updated on authority guidelines and regulations on packaging for excipients and APIs.
• Collaborate with stakeholders in e.g. process development, supply chain, regulatory, QA, warehouse and EHS to gather essential information.
• Drive relevant studies on packaging in our R&D laboratory or warehouse to support optimization and innovation activities.

Qualifications
We can tailor the job to your experience, and therefore, please don’t hesitate to apply - no matter if you have several years of experience within the packaging area, or if you are newly graduated with an interest in packaging materials.
Some of the qualities we look for are:
• M.Sc. in Material Science, Chemistry, Engineering or another relevant field
• Knowledge and/or experience within primary, secondary and/or outer packaging
• Fluency in both spoken and written English

About the team
The Contract Manufacturing team consist currently of 9 dedicated colleagues that cover different areas of responsibilities e.g. setting material requirements; material sourcing & supplier implementation; ensuring GMP documentation; analytical coordination; CMO screening, selection, implementation, technical hand-over and contract negotiations. The activities in our team play a very central role within NNPR business. Our work relies on the cross-functional alignment with all our colleagues driving in-house production and with whom we are continuously in touch with.
