Project Manager Assistant (m/f) - Porto (Portugal)

Eurowind Energy is a Danish limited liability company, which over the years has become a leading developer and operator of photovoltaic, wind turbine and P2X projects. The company has more than 2.000 MW of operating assets under management in several countries across Europe and has been increasing its presence throughout the European market, including Portugal. The operations in the Southern European Region are run by the Portuguese office which also hosts a competence centre for solar projects for the whole group.

Due to our recent growth in development, construction and operation of renewable power plants, we are currently looking for a Project Manager Assistant for the Portuguese market. This job offers you the possibility of being part of a growing technical and commercial team, who backs other group’s affiliates, backed by a large international group.

Main responsibilities:
As a Project Manager Assistant, you will assist on the management of projects under construction in the Portuguese market. You will work closely and report to the Construction Manager - Portugal, taking on the responsibilities assigned to you, shadowing and giving support to him, but also providing assistance to other project managers of the group, in Portugal or other geographies, if so required.

You will thrive in the cooperation with the vendors, subcontractors, professionals and all required stakeholders from pre-construction until commissioning, and you’ll participate in the handover of the projects to the O&M and TCM teams.

Furthermore, as a Project Manager Assistant you will support the budgeting activity for the projects assigned and you will contribute for the accomplishment of all project tasks within the planned schedules, budget and assigned resources.

You are expected to be permanently updated on the renewable energy industry market and trends.

The ideal profile:

• At least one year of experience working in a similar role in the of Solar PV or construction market
• Strong analytical, interpersonal, planning and organizational skills
• Proficiency in MSOffice tools, including MS Project or other project management tools
• Fluent in English (command of other languages will be considered a plus)
• University degree in Engineering, preferably electrical engineering
• Familiarity with PV systems and construction processes is a plus.
• Ability to be based in Porto but to travel often to project sites both nationally and internationally
