Nordic Operational Development Consultant to McDonald’s

As our new Operational Development Consultant, you will play an important role in driving innovation and growing our sales channels, primarily McCafé and McDelivery.
You will be part of the Operational Development Department that is responsible for the development and maintenance of the operational manual for McCafé and McDelivery. We ensure the right conditions in our restaurants and make sure they are ready to “operate as designed”. As a start the focus will be on McCafé, and later you will support in general the team within McDelivery and other growth channels.
Your key responsibilities are listed below:
- Manage onboarding
- Own the McCafé onboarding process of the restaurants in all four markets (Denmark, Sweden, Finland and Norway)
- Ensure restaurant crew has the right access to the right training material for McCafé and McDelivery
- Ensure that the operational manual for McCafé is fully updated and accessible to enable the restaurants to “operate as designed”
- McCafé course scheduling according to deployment plan and working closely with the construction departments in the four Nordic countries
- Work closely with our partners and support our “the 3-legged stool” mindset (franchisees, suppliers and employees)
- Acting as subject matter expert within your area and support the market with recommendations and handling questions
- Stakeholder management
- Ensure clear communication with both internal and external stakeholders
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure that we’re able to produce the newly innovated products, that we have the right capacity, testing the newest equipment etc.
- Seeking new innovation and ways of working from Global McCafé/McDelivery – always updated on new technology, equipment, routines etc.
- Assist in the escalation on issues from restaurants, external partners etc. related to McCafé and McDelivery
- Creative strong partnership

Skills & Requirements
As a person you are business oriented, well organized and driven to achieve quality results. You are an independent doer who collaborates and adapts your communication to a given audience.
We imagine that you bring the following competencies to the role:
- It will be to your advantage if you have McDonald’s restaurant experience or similar experience from Quick Service Restaurant
- Experience with project management
- You are a data savvy with significant experience of Excel & PowerBI
- You can analyze complex challenges, break it down and identify potential solutions
- You are a strong communicator both verbally and in writing, in English and one more Nordic language
- You maybe have a relevant academic degree (post-secondary education) or McDonald’s Leadership education/training
