Business Risk Specialist

Our Business Risk Specialists (BRS) supports the business in performing its first line activities connected to risk management. This to secure that Entercard operates in conformance with regulatory and internal governance, and the applicable risk and compliance requirements.

The responsibility of the role implies implementation of the risk framework set by 2nd Line into the business in 1st line, covering both operational and business risks. Important responsibilities will be to secure Compliance to regulatory requirements, incident and problem management and business continuity management in an effective way for the business. You will be part of the Operational Risk team in 2nd line Risk Control together with other Business Risk Specialist that reports and supports the different parts of the company.

The role will report to Head of Operational Risk.

Your role at Entercard
As a Business Risk Specialist you will provide support to the assigned risk and process owners by driving the execution of Operational & Business Risk framework. This by identification, assessment and documentation of risks and controls. You will also execute the testing of both design and effectiveness of the control environment.

In addition to this you will support in incident and problem management for the function. You will also support and facilitate internal audit process regarding the business function by gathering the information required by the auditors and follow-up on the recommendations and actions. Other activities that you will be involved in includes assessments of supplier relationship management activities (third party risk), policy life cycle management processes and business continuity management.

The role is dynamic and offers a variety of tasks which will give you a good overview of risk management work in a financial institute. You will work closely to senior management and Executive Committee, and it is expected that you can work independently and take responsibility for your work. The work gives you the possibility to impact risk management in the organization and to drive change.

• Possess relevant experience for the position from previous risk management roles, preferably within the financial industry.

• Communicate in a way that customers and colleagues understand in order to drive change and improvements
• Curious, willingness and ambition to develop new skills and competencies
• Fluent in English
• Have at least a bachelor degree
