Danmarks Tekniske Universitet (DTU)

If you are looking for an exciting opportunity for a postdoc position, we at Department of Electrical and Photonic Engineering (DTU Electro), Technical University of Denmark is seeking a candidate to work on developing the next generation of software tools for analog integrated circuit design under the AICA (Analog Integrated Circuit Automation) project.

The design of analog integrated circuits is still more time-demanding than the design of the digital counterpart despite its widespread use. The AICA project aims to reduce the design time of analog integrated circuits to narrow the time discrepancy between analog and digital design. This is achieved by combining techniques within optimization, machine learning and artificial intelligence to accurately determine good circuit configurations.

This specific postdoc position will mainly focus on continuing the development of algorithms and software already made in the AICA project. Furthermore, the postdoc will focus on testing the software on relevant integrated circuits over a wide variety of process nodes and circuit requirements. Lastly, the postdoc is responsible for creating and maintaining relationships with industrial partners. This postdoc is funded by an InnoExplorer grant from Innovation Fund Denmark.

As a formal qualification, you must hold a PhD degree (or equivalent). Preferably a PhD Degree in Electronics or Electrical Engineering. Have prior experience with software design for integrated circuits, including Cadence scripting languages like SKILL and OCEAN. Have a strong background in Optimization/Machine Learning/Artificial Intelligence and integrated circuit design.
