NKT produces cables for the electrification of society, which is in great demand. We continuously develop our products finding better ways of supporting the market in a sustainable way, and part of this is testing the fire performance of the products. For this area, we are looking for a new specialist to support material engineers of the field. The future at NKT will offer exciting new projects, which our specialist will also be an important part of.

Organize the lab to ensure efficient output
We are looking for a committed and versatile specialist, who wants to expand your knowledge within the area of fire testing of cable products. The area is a niche within our business, and our laboratory is well-established. Third parties are utilizing the lab as well, hence our new specialist will get a broad interaction in the everyday tasks.

Some of your most important tasks will be:

• Conducting fire performance tests
• Organize the maintenance of the fire laboratory
• Tests and verification of materials and products
• Provide bases for invoicing of activities in the fire laboratory
• Support material specialist in ad-hoc projects

Cooperative problem solver
Safety comes first – also in our laboratories. Hence, the most important part is to perform tests safely. Next is to use your collaborative and analytical skills to find solutions where required. We seek an individual committed to finding solutions and demonstrating a professional eagerness to learn, complemented by the following qualifications:

• Relevant technical background
• Familiarity with fire performance testing can be beneficialExperience with cables is an asset
• Good at Danish and English in writing and speech
• Flair for IT

The team associated with our laboratory works closely together on all the diverse tasks that arise, therefore it is important that you also have the motivation to work flexibly and are prepared to take action where needed. Together, we create a positive and inclusive work culture.
The working hours are generally from 07.00 – 15.00 and you have flexitime as part of the employment.
