As a PMS Assistant Manager, you will contribute to the effective planning, preparation, and execution of planned maintenance tasks on TORM’s vessels. This is essential to our mission of delivering high-quality, cost-efficient technical management.
Your Role: Make an Impact
In this role, you will be part of a high-performing team which is central to implementing key projects which help us maintain our fleet at the highest industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensuring cooperation and cross-functional teamwork and knowledge sharing.
- Identifying opportunities to streamline PMS maintenance tasks while ensuring the highest safety and operational reliability standards.
- Proactively recommending enhancements to the PMS system to create a consistent, reference-standard system across the fleet.
- Regularly engaging with onboard users to gather valuable feedback and identify areas for improvement.
- Adopting a practical approach to evaluate the feasibility of change requests submitted to the PMS team.
- Collaboration with stakeholders within the technical team to gather requirements and align with business objectives.
Planned Maintenance System (PMS) is an integrated part of our Fleet Management System (FMS) which is Sertica.
Your Profile
This position is for a PMS professional who would thrive in a global, collaborative environment and can contribute with technical expertise to the team.
To succeed in this role, you bring
- Mandatory sailing experience as a Marine Engineer.
- In-depth knowledge from the shipping industry.
- Experience with Microsoft Office – Excel, Word and Outlook.
- Prior experience with PMS systems will be an advantage.
- Strong collaboration skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken, with the ability to communicate clearly.
