Drives Software Engineer - Motor Controls

We are looking for an experienced Software Engineer to join our team of 8 talented developers. You will be responsible for the design, implementation, and optimization of motor control algorithms for frequency converters, with a particular focus on compressor motor control. Your expertise in embedded systems and C/C++ development will be crucial in creating high-performance and energy-efficient solutions for our products.
About the Position
In this role, you will be part of a highly specialized and cross-disciplinary team, working across the organization on exciting development projects. You will have the opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge technologies in motor control and frequency converters, within an innovative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain software for embedded-platforms, including the design, coding, and integration of software for ARM-based systems.
- Implement and optimize control algorithms for motor control applications using tools like MATLAB and Simulink.
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to ensure seamless integration of control systems and participate in fault analysis.
- Perform testing, debugging, and validation of embedded software using scripting languages like Python for e.g. automated testing.
- Stay updated on the latest trends and technologies in motor control and contribute to platform-based development and product safety.
Your Profile:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience in embedded software development, especially within motor control systems.
- Strong proficiency in C/C++ programming and experience developing on ARM platforms, including knowledge of RTOS frameworks.
- Familiarity with communication protocols such as CAN, RS232, SPI, I2C, and Ethernet, as well as driver development for hardware.
- Experience with tools like MATLAB, Simulink, and Python for simulation and testing.
- Experience with agile development methodologies and the ability to work in cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Danish, both written and verbal.
