The position
We are looking for a Research Scientist to help us drive, analyse, optimise, and potentially rethink the way we do pyrogen testing.
You will be responsible for the performance and optimisation of pyrogen assays (MAT and LAL) for specific clinical projects within the Novo Nordisk project portfolio. - contribute to problem handling with LER (Low Endotoxin Recovery) by using your bio/chemical knowledge on how components interact
- analytical assay development and compliance (approval of results, qualification of equipment, deviation handling & change request)
- technical writing – Develop electronic protocols and reports
- work across teams in our department optimizing, developing and timely delivery of project analytical needs
You will also participate in cross site groups with focus on Pyrogens/Endotoxin. You can look forward to using your skills and talent not only in our department but across Drug Development which covers analysis, cell banking, drug product development and stability testing within the entire R&ED clinical portfolio. We can offer an open, dynamic, and social atmosphere with a strong focus on science, collaboration, and deliveries at the right regulatory level.
Qualifications
You hold a Master of Science and preferable a PhD within microbiology, pharmacy, biomedicine, cell biology, biochemistry or similar.
Ideally you also have:

- project management skills
- interest to see new ways on how to solve LER issues
- hands on lab experience is an advantage
- experience or a keen interest for lean and continuous improvements
- a curios mind on how molecules interact in drug product formulations followed by an interest in how to use data to improve method development.
As a person, you are a team player that naturally builds relations to colleagues and stakeholders in the organization. You are an independent person that drives initiatives to reach goals and meet necessary deadlines. You can handle several tasks at the same time, and you never lose sight of the end goal. Lastly, you have good communication skills and a positive and curious mind-set.
