Job Description

As our current Director of Strategic Programs moves to a new opportunity, we are seeking a successor to join the Senior Leadership team at RAC, playing a pivotal role in the continued development and execution of our strategy. While reporting directly to the Division President, you will also manage a team of 3-4 specialists, driving policy deployment, continuous improvement initiatives, and strategic projects.

This is a high-visibility role where you will collaborate across our business and our diverse and dynamic leadership team, where we collaborate, challenge and develop each of us.

Job Responsibilities
In this position, you will be responsible for leading cross-functional strategic activities within the RAC organization and be the anchor for strategic projects with other divisions within Danfoss. By collaborating with senior stakeholders across divisions, you will be at the forefront of strategic decision-making, leading transformative projects that position Danfoss ahead of market trends.

Key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Leading cross-functional strategic projects to tackle key challenges and unlock opportunities.
• Developing and executing both short- and long-term strategies to drive profitable growth, leveraging deep market insights and competitive analysis.
• Acting as a trusted advisor to the RAC President by preparing executive materials, coordinating high-level meetings, and supporting customer engagements.
• Driving the annual business perspective process and coordinating efforts with Danfoss Segments and Group Strategy teams.
• Identifying growth opportunities through M&A activities and partnerships and developing an M&A roadmap aligned with RAC’s strategic goals.

Background & Skills
The ideal candidate will bring a combination of strategic insight, leadership and technical understanding.

Specifically, we’re looking for:

• An academic background with a degree in business, finance, economics, or engineering; additional education in business administration is a plus.
• A proven record of success in strategy consulting or in a strategic role within a large international company.
• Expertise in leading complex projects and engaging with multiple stakeholders across functions.
• Exceptional communication skills, with fluency in English; proficiency in German is an advantage.

Your strategic thinking, ability to build consensus, and capacity to inspire others will be essential to success in this role.
