Your role and responsibilities
Details: • Period: spring semester of 2025 • Number of credits: 15 ECTS • Number of students for this thesis work: One or two • Location: Partly on-site Evaluation of different systems or solutions for switching of capacitors or filters on medium voltage level for industrial applications. Required outcome is a recommended standard solution with the following performance criterias: • Low switching transients despite varying short circuit impedance • Cost efficient solution with respect also to external switching equipment • Maximum switching size taken into account • Harmonic amplification and resonance • Power factor correction • Size and protection demands
Qualifications for the role
- Electric power engineering student on bachelor level
- Location is Gothenburg Sweden
- Required language is Swedish and English
