The Position
As an Associate Process Engineer, you have a large interface with stakeholders, why you must have a good sense of communication. You must have a good sense of juggling multiple tasks and good communication should be natural for you. You will engage in troubleshooting, where systematic problem solving (LEAN) is frequently used.you will, together with your colleagues, have responsibilities within the development and implementation of laboratory processes and procedures, with a special focus on equipment and automation. Our team also assists in identifying optimization potentials and implementing solutions in an advanced and automated manufacturing setup.

You will be part of an analysis team consisting of support staff, chemists, and laboratory technicians, totaling 16 people. Your core task will be to develop, document at the prober GMP level, and maintain equipment used for endotoxin, southern blot, and pheno analyses. Moreover, you will:

· Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure that laboratory processes involving equipment and automation comply with quality standards and regulatory requirements.

· Contribute to the development and documentation of laboratory methods and protocols with integrated equipment and automation.

· Assist in the execution of laboratory experiments and prototype tests with an emphasis on automation.

· Monitor and analyse laboratory equipment with automation features to identify and address operational challenges.

· Participate in the qualification of robots and daily operation and maintenance of systems.

There will be great possibilities to develop in the job while working on projects and qualifications of robots and maintenance of systems, while creating a long-term career within Novo Nordisk. Your workplace will be in Kalundborg.

Qualifications
To succeed in this position, you have:

· A bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent, at a minimum.

· Have a can-do mindset, ability to work effectively in an interdisciplinary environment with automated equipment, flair for working with IT systems and equipment.

· Familiarity with laboratory processes and techniques involving integrated equipment and automation.

· A basic understanding of quality assurance and compliance with regulations related to automation.

You need to be fluent in English, but don’t need to be fluent in Danish. Ideally you understand written Danish, i n case you are not Danish speaking, it is expected that you improve your skills towards good fluency.

On a personal level, you take ownership and respect deadlines, while staying structured and systematic. Having natural curiosity, the ability to coordinate and collaborate efficiently throughout the organization are essential in this role. Being eager to learn and work through challenges by proposing well-thought-out solutions are the foundations we like to build on this team. Staying focused on goals, while performing with agility and flexibility in an evolving project environment, are key behaviors in this role.

The department consists of approximately 155 dedicated employees distributed across 9 teams.
