Are you ready to play a pivotal role in ensuring seamless procurement processes while driving efficiency and quality in the supply chain? NOV SPS in Kalundborg, Denmark, is looking for a dedicated SCM Buyer to join our dynamic team!

Key Responsibilities

• Purchase Request Management: Receive and process purchase requests from various departments.
• Supplier Development: Identify, qualify, and develop reliable suppliers in the market.
• Procurement Oversight: Monitor the entire purchasing process to ensure compliance with company policies and objectives.
• Global Agreements: Negotiate, implement, and manage supply agreements for parts and services.
• Order Management: Negotiate terms and issue purchase orders in the ERP system, adhering to the company's quality management system procedures.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure that purchased products meet the required quality standards; manage rework or additional service requirements when necessary.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Maintain close communication with Warehouse, Accounting, Tax, and Finance teams to ensure smooth material receipt and processing.
• Additional Responsibilities: Perform other duties relevant to the position as needed.

Key Requirements:

• Educational Background: A degree in Engineering, Production Engineering, Economics, or a related field is required.
• Technical Expertise: Strong foundational knowledge of technical, industrial, or manufacturing processes and procurement best practices.
• Adaptability: A proactive approach to learning and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.
• Language Proficiency: Fluency in both English and Danish is essential for seamless communication across teams and with stakeholders.
• Key Skills and Attributes:
• A detail-oriented mindset with a proactive attitude toward problem-solving.
• Excellent negotiation skills to secure optimal outcomes.
• In-depth understanding of procurement processes and their application.
