As Director for Campus Kalundborg you will be responsible for supporting the development of an international leading hub for education, research and innovation in biomanufacturing and biosolutions. Development of the international hub will be in close collaboration with six educational institutions (DTU—Technical University of Denmark, the Royal Danish Academy – Architecture, Design, Conservation, NorthWest Zealand’s Vocational and High School Educations (NEG), Teknika – Copenhagen College of Technology Management and Marine Engineering, University College Absalon and University of Copenhagen), Knowledge Hub Zealand, Helix Lab, the Municipality of Kalundborg, Novo Nordisk and Novonesis.
Kalundborg is known for its strong Public Private Partnership as well as for having the world’s leading industrial symbiosis with the largest biomanufacturing cluster. We will build upon the unique collaboration and results already achieved by the many stakeholders, educational institutions and the Municipality of Kalundborg.
The overall success criteria is for Campus Kalundborg (CK) to increase the student population from approx. 500 to 1,500 students by 2030, and for CK to educate high-quality graduates with an innovative mindset that meet the demands of industry.
