Your future team
You will join the Presales & Construction Design team, which delivers high expertise and assists our customers with their construction projects here in ROCKWOOL Denmark. You will be part of our Nordic organization where there is a great opportunity to utilize your professional talent and experiences. In this role, you will gain in-depth knowledge of the insulation and construction industry in Denmark, especially regarding the roofing segment and our system products. Over time, you will expand your product knowledge and gain insights into future building materials, particularly concerning technical and environmental properties from our many technically skilled colleagues.

What you will be doing
Your primary task is to assist our customers with roofing projects and construction proposals for our system solutions, where you will design and draw insulation solutions that meet the customers' requirements regarding needs, energy, and design. Our customers are primarily architects, consultants, contractors, and installers, and you will contribute to some of the largest construction projects in Denmark, optimizing and designing solutions in close collaboration with these stakeholders.

Specifically, you will:

  • Engage in dialogue with customers and gather the necessary drawings and information, such as U-value, heat loss, etc., required to produce and optimize an insulation plan.
  • Work in our AutoCAD-based calculation program for measurement, drawing, and calculation, including using our Excel-based tools.
  • Manage communication with customers throughout the project's lifespan.
  • Calculate offers for our roofing insulation customers, including creating layout plans, etc. and supporting the sales team
  • Assist with project orders, create project-specific quantity calculations, make delivery plans based on customer requirement, and subsequently coordinate with our customer support for ordering materials for the construction project.
  • Develop solutions and construction proposals for our system products for various building projects.
  • Coordinate work distribution and planning in the department concerning incoming projects and available resources.
  • Provide and engage in professional sparring with our customers regarding construction solutions and related technical questions.
  • Contribute to knowledge sharing across the organization and our other sales teams.

You enjoy communicating with customers via phone, email, and in person, and take pride in providing them with a useful and professional experience. We expect you to prioritize the customer's needs, considering their timeline and other requirements and expectations. We hope you thrive in a varied workday where there is busyness, and some periods will be more routine based.

Additionally, we see the following qualifications to succeed in the job:

  • A technical education, such as an building engineer, construction architect, architectural engineer or similar.
  • Experience using AutoCAD, REVIT, and possibly knowledge of Building Information Modelling (BIM).
  • Enjoy talking to and understanding customers, is positive, and has an outgoing approach to those you collaborate with.
  • Currently our customers and stakeholders are primarily Danish requiring you to speak and write professional Danish, equally English.
