We are looking for a technician for our Manufacturing Equipment Maintenance team. As the technician in the team you will play an important role in improving equipment reliability, our support to our manufacturing lines, and our stakeholder interaction.
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Technician to support our two operational facilities. You will be part of the Manufacturing Equipment Maintenance team or the Utility Team within Plant Engineering (PLE) depending on our priorities during the 12 months period. You will play an important role in maintaining our production and utility systems while providing essential support to production and laboratory operations.
Your contributions will help ensure the reliability of our production equipment, enabling us to deliver high-quality products to our customers on time, every time.
About the Team & Department
You will collaborate closely with colleagues in the department, production, QA and other teams, while also contributing to technical projects focused on expanding production capacity. PLE consists of around 40 employees delivering manufacturing equipment maintenance, utility operations & maintenance, calibration and other system support across the site.
Your workday will be dynamic and occasionally fast-paced, involving close collaboration with various employee groups across the company. You will have significant influence over task execution, working closely with users to coordinate and plan tasks for seamless operations.
About the Role
This role involves both practical and administrative responsibilities - your primary responsibilities will include:
- Managing service and maintenance with external suppliers.
- Addressing urgent tasks and providing immediate technical support.
- Assisting with production processes and systems.
- Collaborating with teammates to ensure stable operations.
- Coordinating internal and external resources for service and maintenance tasks.
- Supporting documentation and compliance requirements.
- Driving improvements of maintenance routines.
- Participating in the 24/7 on-call duty rotation if deemed necessary.
Your Qualifications
- Experience with production equipment, utilities, and supply systems, or a recent graduate eager to learn.
- A relevant background, such as Marine Engineer, Electronics/Automation Technician, or another technical field.
- Strong planning and coordination skills, with familiarity with GMP environments being an advantage.
- Knowledge of automation and control solutions, along with basic troubleshooting skills.
- Proficiency in technical English, as all documentation and communication are in English.
- A focused and flexible approach, enabling effective delivery of results through teamwork.
- Ability to motivate and engage colleagues while fostering a positive and collaborative culture in a cross-disciplinary environment.
