We are seeking Shipping Trainees ready to embark on a commercial career at an international shipping company founded and headquartered in Denmark. We will teach you the fundamentals of shipping from day one, and your responsibility will grow with the progression of your learning curve.

About you
We seek curious and ambitious trainees with a commercial understanding and an analytical mindset. You thrive on being responsible for your own tasks and meeting sharp deadlines, and you understand the importance of being part of a team.

You have completed STX, HHX, EUX, or have a bachelor’s degree or something similar.

What matters most to us is your drive and willingness to learn.

Our working language is English, so you must be fluent verbally and in writing. You must also have a Danish work and residence permit.

To succeed in your traineeship, you must be competitive, flexible, and proactive. We depend on new ideas - also yours - as we constantly adapt to market opportunities.

About the traineeship
The two-year traineeship starts in September 2025.

The traineeship is based at our headquarters in Hellerup, north of Copenhagen, Denmark. You will rotate between our various departments and global offices during the traineeship. We will ensure that you get hands-on experience with the practical aspects of working in the shipping industry.

The theoretical training will be at Danish Shipping Education, hosted by Danish Shipping, where you will acquire the necessary knowledge and skills to manage your tasks and establish your first network within the maritime industry.

During your two years as a Shipping Trainee, we will strongly focus on your development, and you will be assigned an experienced mentor.
