Student Assistant supporting research and impact at Center for Hybrid Intelligence

Do you want to be part of a research center ambitious about both cutting edge research and real-world impact within generative AI and hybrid intelligence? Then you might be our new student assistant. The Center for Hybrid Intelligence is looking for a student assistant starting from 14th February 2025 to assist with administrative and practical tasks.
The Center for Hybrid Intelligence is an interdisciplinary team of researchers and practitioners from physics, computer science, human-computer interaction, management, economics, psychology, cognitive science, art history, and creativity studies exploring digital interfaces that facilitate collaboration between humans and AI algorithms. We are located at the Department of Management at Aarhus BSS, Aarhus University.
Your tasks:
- Assist management and center staff in practical day to day ad hoc tasks like event management, stakeholder communication and engagement, social media presence, center administrative tasks, presentation and data visual and communicative clean-up, data management logistics, testing of our games and applications and facilitation of user testing.
We expect you to:
- Be thorough and able to work independently and disciplined.
- Be able to communicate in English and Danish.
- Have an interest in the AI and cognitive science tasks and objectives of the permanent researchers of the center.

Who we are
The Department of Management is one of the six departments at Aarhus BSS- one of the five faculties at Aarhus University. Aarhus BSS unites the business and social science-related research fields and brings them closer together to reflect the close relationship between society and the business community. As part of a Top 100 university, Aarhus BSS and the Department of Management have achieved the distinguished AASCB, AMBA and EQUIS accreditations.
The department’s research and teaching environment is highly international and culturally diverse with a mix of Danish and international academic staff members and PhD students. We employ more than 160 academic staff including researchers, PhD students, research associates and cover a broad range of disciplines within management, e.g. marketing, international business, organization, HR, strategy, management accounting, innovation management, entrepreneurship, project management, and information systems. Practical information
The average weekly working hours are approximately 14 hours per week.
Your place of work will be the Center of Hybrid Intelligence, Department of Management, Aarhus BSS, H-building 2627, 2nd floor, DK-8210 Aarhus V, Denmark. You report to Prof. Jacob Sherson.
