Become our new HR Controller at Aalborg Portland Nordic & Baltic

We are seeking an HR Controller who will play a crucial role in enhancing our processes and delivering valuable insights that support data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement. This role will provide support to our businesses across the Nordic & Baltic region, with a focus on cost analysis, controlling, and reporting.
You will work closely with colleagues in the HR Operations team, HR Business Partners (HRBPs), and the Planning, Budget, and Controlling (PBC) team, spanning multiple businesses in Denmark, Norway, and smaller subsidiaries in the region.
As the HR Controller, you will act as a key link between HR, PBC, and the business units, ensuring effective HR cost control across all units. Your main responsibilities will include HR controlling and reporting, translating business needs into data analysis, and contributing to overall financial performance. Primary tasks include:
- HR budget management (HC/FTE, Cost of Labor, financial analysis, forecasts, and local / global financial reporting)
- Monthly Cost reporting
- Support HR Operations and HR Managers on HR master data awareness to ensure high quality reporting/analysis through automatized/digitalized reporting
- Business support and analysis
You are a data-driven professional with strong people skills
You are either a recent graduate with a relevant university degree, such as a Cand.Merc. in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration, or you have a few years of experience as a Business Partner or Business Controller, ideally within HR Controlling. You thrive in environments where you can develop and optimize processes, perform analyses, and communicate insights that can be actively applied in the organization. Experience from another industrial company would be an advantage. In addition, you have:
- A high level of proficiency in English, and you are comfortable working across cultural and linguistic boundaries, constantly expanding your professional network.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, inspiring project partners.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Experience with SAP is considered an advantage.
