About this role
As an IT System Specialist, you will play a key role in improving the efficiency of all manufacturing-related processes globally and be at the center of transformation activities. You can, therefore, look forward to a dynamic project-oriented community working in an international environment with colleagues from all over the world supporting both our local and global sites. The position requires taking independent decisions based on business requirements and strategy.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Oversee the installation, configuration, and qualification of our PAS-X MES system for new Production facilities around the world, working with central system management and vendors
- Facilitate clarification of technical aspects of the application and underlying infrastructure components with central resources, vendors, and corporate stakeholders in a GxP regulated environment
- Supervise and maintain stand-alone PAS-X instance on industrial PC used for Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) including user guide
- Supervise deployment of LEAPWORK Test Automation Platform including integration to TIMS (Test Information Management System) which is the main Test and Validation Tool in Novo Nordisk. The task also includes creation of test flows for PAS-X GMBR’s, so basic GMBR design experience is required.
- Actively engaged in troubleshooting in a complex system landscape
- Collaboration with other stakeholders and vendor in order to adapt new technologies
- Actively improving and optimizing our processes, both internally and across teams within Product Supply and DD&IT PS
- Ensuring IT security and data integrity by working in accordance with Novo Nordisk procedures and external guidelines for Computer Systems Validation
- At a later stage the role is planned to transition to support deployment team roll-outs
To be successful in this role, we require the following:
- Have an academic degree within a relevant discipline e.g. IT, business, economics, or equivalent. ITU graduates are also encouraged to apply.
- Have proven success in a similar position for at least two years - working with installation and qualification
- Are used to working with GxP IT system validation in a regulated production environment
- Have a solid knowledge of deploying PAS-X or another MES System
- Ability to navigate and manage responsibilities in a critical and complex environment, including the skillset to understand the criticality, and independently prioritise and take action
- Have a flair for stakeholder management to collaborate easily with vendors, consultants, and with customers
- Have a natural ability to remain flexible and adapt to changing priorities with promptness, efficiency, and ease
- Can use your empathy and IT apprehension to change complex technical challenges and demands into workable solutions
- Have good communication skills to enable you to discuss complicated IT matters with non-IT colleagues.
- Demonstrate excellent communication both in written and spoken English; Danish skills would be advantageous
The team waiting for you
You will be anchored in the Product Management team within the Manufacturing Execution System (MES) Agile Programme, part of Digital, Data & IT (DD&IT) Product Supply, focusing on implementing key systems supporting Novo Nordisk’ manufacturing processes. We set the strategic direction and ensure that processes across production lines are automated and optimised.
