About the role
We are currently searching for an Associate in Sustainable Banking Denmark, to take part in driving our sustainability agenda at SEB in Denmark. In the role you will work closely with, and report to, the Head of Sustainable Banking in Denmark. Additionally, you will work closely with the Sustainable Banking organization throughout SEB, and with colleagues across business areas. Primarily working with large corporate and financial institution clients.
In the role you will execute on SEB´s sustainability strategy, which includes
- Advise clients on sustainability i.e. legislation, water, climate and human rights.
- Advise clients on sustainability related bank products primarily Sustainability Linked Loans & Sustainable Bonds.
- Facilitate sustainability initiatives across business areas and products.
- Ensuring sustainability reporting on Danish activities.
- Support coverage teams in Climate Classifications of clients.
To thrive in this role, we believe you
- Are passionate about sustainability and motivated to steer SEB’s and our clients' businesses in a more sustainable direction.
- Have experience within sustainability or ESG from a corporate, a financial institution i.e. a bank, as a consultant or in another client facing role.
- Have an academic degree in economics, finance, business or an equivalent field.
- Have a minimum of 3+ years of working experience within sustainability. The role will be adjusted to fit the right candidate, therefore candidates with longer working experience within sustainability are also encouraged to apply.
- Have knowledge of the international sustainability agenda, including legislation, guidelines, and best practice.
- Have good communication skills and fluent in Danish and English.
