Business Intelligence Full Stack Developer

Developing solid solutions to drive business decisions
You will be part of the IT GIS and Business Intelligence department. We have a common passion for data, and we provide insight into complex areas by presenting data in unique tools that enable data-driven decisions. We are responsible for developing tools but also enabling the company's employees to make use of the solutions created. We do so by teaching our colleagues how to use the solutions built but also to train them to start building Business Intelligence solutions themselves.

The team currently consists of nine members – three in Business Intelligence, five in GIS and one manager. On top of this Full Stack Developer position, we will also be adding a Frontend Developer to our team.

As a Power BI Full Stack Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining our MS Fabric applications, primarily Power BI reports and semantic models. You will work closely with both the IT department and the rest of the organization to ensure robust and efficient solutions. You will be driving projects both independently and in collaboration with colleagues with the aim of translating business needs into user friendly solutions to help secure insights and data driven decisions.

As our new Full Stack Developer, you will both help to create BI solutions, as well as operate and maintain existing solutions. You will be responsible for specifying requirements for future solutions through analysis of needs and processes and subsequently documenting executed BI solutions.

You will be an important player in building the BI system platform of the future. Furthermore, you will assist in teaching and supporting the company's users in our BI solutions.

Your primary collaboration partners will be the company's BI users as well as project owners in the organization. You will also work closely with the rest of the colleagues in the department as well as colleagues in Software Development.

Your profile
We imagine that you have a background in technology, data, finance or business, for example as a data engineer, computer scientist or with a relevant bachelor's or master's degree. The most important thing is your interest in data and analytics. We expect you to have:

• Experience with Microsoft Power BI, Power Query M and DAX.
• Interest in technology and business to be able to design insightful reports.
• Experience with data work and analysis as well as basic statistical understanding.
• Good English language skills in both writing and speech.
• Experience with project management within IT
