Position Responsibilities
Respond to technical desktop support incidents, user inquires, requests, and escalations via email or phone and provide functional support and assistance to a local and global user base, following specific processes and guidelines to ensure that tasks are completed consistently and efficiently.
Log all incoming requests in the incident tracking system and follow up on open tickets to ensure proper response and satisfactory resolution, keep detail-oriented documentation regarding problems and solutions, and keep the customer updated of the status and resolution times.
Image and configure laptops using SCCM/Autopilot.
Assist in create knowledge base articles to assist with troubleshooting and problem resolution.
Configure and send new hire equipment to onboarding staff.
Support maintenance of audio-visual equipment, including hook-up, configuration, parts replacement, and AV technology refresh recommendations.
Participate in tech refresh program to upgrade older systems.
Handle office technology equipment and update status in Asset Management system as equipment is deployed to or recovered from employees.
Assist with administration of mobile devices.
Participate in supporting IT requirements for large events such as conference/departmental meetings.
Qualifications
1+ years IT support experience preferred.
Professional verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skills
Ability to analyze, troubleshoot, and problem solve.
Foundational knowledge of PC/MAC hardware, software, components, Microsoft products and operating systems, and basic troubleshooting.
Proficient in Microsoft products and operating systems.
Audio/Visual troubleshooting experience preferred
Familiarity with resolving remote connectivity issues
Ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment a must
Ability to effectively engage with users, team members and management in a global and multi-cultural setting
