About the role
We are looking for an Assistant Manager to join out Mechanical Quality & Supervision department. You will be working with a team of approximately 10 internal mechanical professionals and 30 externals, based in our offices in Virum and Kalundborg.
The team is one of two teams in the Mechanical Quality and Supervision department. Your team specialises in mechanical supervision/inspection, installation requirements and quality engineering.
In this role, you will bring your mechanical technical experience into play every day and ensure we build and deliver process equipment that fulfils the installation requirements and is ready for the intended use. You take satisfaction in supporting the team while keeping focused on resolving problems to the benefit of all stakeholders.

How you might spend your days
As an Associate Manager, you'll be working with a cross-disciplinary team dedicated to building and delivering mechanical installations in the pharma industry. The job will require weekly presence at both our Virum and Kalundborg offices. Here you’ll be:
- The daily manager of approximately 10 internal Mechanical Supervisors
- Conducting touchpoints with your employees to ensure a good and inspirational working environment that enhances the performance and well-being of your team
- Part of the Mechanical department management team, setting objectives and delivering results that significantly impact the department and company goals
- Performing tasks within the area of mechanical supervision at our contractors’ workshops, installation on our clients’ sites, securing both training/onboarding and continuous process confirmation in the projects
- Further developing the Mechanical Supervision and Inspection discipline
- Helping on projects where challenges are met and leading potential systematic problem solving

The miles you’ve walked

- Degree in engineering within Mechanical Engineering, Welding Engineering, Pharmaceutical Production or equivalent
- Experience in people management and/or team management
- Proficient capabilities within mechanical and possess extensive knowledge of welding requirements
- Experience in the life science manufacturing industry or other similar industries is considered an advantage
- Experience performing mechanical supervision and inspections
- Fluency in Danish and English in both speaking and writing
