At Siemens Mobility, we develop sustainable and intelligent mobility solutions for railways in Denmark and around the world. As part of the Rail Electrification team, you’ll help shape the future of transportation through innovative engineering, collaboration, and real-world impact.
We’re looking for a new colleague who is either seeking a fresh start in a more meaningful role, about to graduate and eager to apply their skills in a high-impact project, or someone with a couple of years of experience from a related technical field who’s ready for something new. If that sounds like you, we’d love to hear from you.
What you’ll do
You’ll become part of a dedicated team working on the electrification of the Danish rail network—one of the country’s largest infrastructure programs. Your work will help enable greener, more efficient transport.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Designing Overhead Contact Line (OCL) systems
- Performing detailed system design at overpasses, stations, and overlaps
- Creating and maintaining design documentation
- Collaborating with manufacturing and installation teams
- Engaging with local and international colleagues in Siemens Mobility’s OCL community
What you bring
We’re open to different levels of experience, but we imagine you have:
- A degree in mechanical or electrical engineering—or you’re graduating soon
- Interest in classical mechanics and rail infrastructure
- Some experience with technical drawings and CAD software (e.g. AutoCAD or MicroStation)
- A structured approach and the ability to work independently and in teams
- Strong communication skills in English (Danish is a plus, but not required)
- Bonus: Interest in data analysis using Excel, Python, Access or similar tools
What we offer
We believe in flexibility, personal development, and a healthy work-life balance. You can expect:
- A competitive salary and pension scheme
- Five additional vacation days each year
- Flexible benefits that match your personal needs
- Health insurance and access to our share program
- A team culture that prioritizes growth, collaboration and technical excellence
