In September 2024, we were proud to add to this legacy and announce the EUR 14.3 billion (approximately DKK 107 billion) acquisition of Schenker. Over the past nine years, we have also successfully completed three other transformational acquisitions: Agility GIL in 2021, Panalpina in 2019, and UTI in 2016, along with several mid-sized strategic transactions that have all contributed to our continued expansion and industry leadership.
It all starts right here at our M&A and Strategic Projects team, located at the DSV HQ in Hedehusene, Denmark.
Support acquisitions from A to Z
You will assist with the acquisitions of companies across the world, in a fragmented industry that provides an abundance of opportunities to create value through consolidation.
Your main responsibilities will be to:
- Be involved in M&A projects globally, from initial screening to signing and closing of deals
- Conduct market screenings and support deal sourcing activities
- Build business cases and valuation models in collaboration with divisional management teams
- Prepare company profiles, business plans, and other supporting materials for decision-making
- Coordinate due diligence processes, including engagement with advisors and internal stakeholders
- Prepare high-quality presentations and materials for the Executive Board and Board of Directors on M&A activities and strategic opportunities

We are a dynamic team of five dedicated M&A professionals, who are working closely together, and prioritize an energetic atmosphere.

M&A experience and flair for stakeholder management
- You have an MSc, preferably in finance, or a related field
- You have +3 years of experience with M&A from a corporate or an advisor role
- You are passionate to work in a dynamic environment
- You are a team player with strong stakeholder management and collaborative skills
- You are organised and thorough in your work
- You communicate effortlessly in English and have an international mindset
- You have a sound understanding of finance and approach projects with an analytical mindset.
