In our Satellite Assembly, Integration, and Verification Team, you’ll be at the heart of building and preparing space systems for flight. From hands-on integration to mission-critical testing, you’ll work alongside a passionate and skilled team of engineers. If you're driven by precision, innovation, and the thrill of seeing your work leave Earth’s atmosphere, this is your launchpad.

About the Position as Senior AIV Engineer
As a Senior AIV Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring that our satellite platforms are built, tested, and prepared for mission success. Beyond hands-on integration and testing, you will help develop the skills and capabilities of the AIV team, align best practices across projects, and contribute to the continuous evolution of our assembly and verification processes. If you thrive at the intersection of precision engineering, mentorship, and complex system integration — this is the role for you.

Essential Requirements:

  • Educational background as an electronics technician/engineer or a similar technical discipline.
  • 4+ years of hands-on AIV experience with a proven track record of delivering satellites to space.
  • Strong understanding of electrical, mechanical, and software interfaces in complex systems.
  • Experience with functional, environmental, and acceptance testing (vibration, TVAC, EMC) is a strong advantage.
  • Proven ability to document procedures and drive quality improvements
  • Experience mentoring colleagues, leading small teams, or coordinating technical tasks is preferred.

Responsibilities include:
As a senior member of the AIV team, you’ll take on both expert-level technical tasks and leadership-in-practice responsibilities that strengthen the team’s performance and skills.

Technical Responsibilities

  • Assemble, integrate, and verify satellite electronic and mechanical components at high technical standards.
  • Support functional testing, subsystem validation, and environmental test campaigns.
  • Diagnose complex integration issues, perform root-cause analyses, and guide resolution efforts.

Senior & Team‑Development Responsibilities

  • Develop team competencies by coaching junior colleagues in assembly methods, test procedures, and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Align AIV knowledge and best practices across the team, ensuring consistent approaches between projects.
  • Facilitate training sessions to improve process understanding, build shared standards, and introduce new tools or methods.
  • Support continuous improvement by identifying workflow bottlenecks and proposing enhancements to procedures, test setups, and assembly techniques.

The position includes approximately 10–20 travel days per year for launch site support.

Your Profile
We are looking for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and takes pride in their work. You are not just assembling hardware – you are contributing to a mission. Furthermore, you need to:

  • Be a strong team player who communicates clearly and supports colleagues
  • Take ownership of tasks and proactively drive processes forward
  • Be detail-oriented and committed to delivering high-quality results
  • Be helpful by nature, with a positive attitude and a hands-on mindset
  • Be motivated by purpose, precision, and the impact of space technology
