At DEIF, we are looking for a Software Developer to join our Integration team and contribute to developing high-quality software for customised solutions.
About the role
As a Software Developer in the Integration team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software solutions that support DEIF’s customised integration projects.
You will work closely with both the global Integration team and DEIF’s application software teams to ensure that solutions are aligned, scalable, and maintainable. The role requires a structured and quality-focused approach, where you contribute to building reusable and adaptable software frameworks.
You will follow DEIF’s software handbook and apply SOLID principles, ensuring high standards for code quality, maintainability, and performance.
You can be located in our offices in Denmark, Germany or Croatia.
Your main responsibilities
- Develop software solutions based on system requirements, information flows, and design specifications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment in software architecture and structure
- Design and develop scalable and customisable software templates
- Write clean, maintainable, and high-quality code for reliable and robust applications
- Perform unit testing and debugging to ensure solutions meet requirements and quality standards
- Identify, analyse, and resolve software defects and issues in collaboration with the team
- Contribute to continuous improvement of development practices and technical solutions
- Write and perform PATS tests (DEIF internal test system)
- Stay up to date on relevant technologies and continuously develop your technical skillset
Your profile
We are looking for a structured and self-driven developer who thrives working with complex systems and values high-quality solutions.
You likely bring:
- A relevant degree within Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Experience working as a Software Developer or Software Engineer
- Solid knowledge of object-oriented programming (e.g. C++, Java, or Python), with C++ and Codesys being an advantage
- Familiarity with software development methodologies and best practices
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience with development tools such as IDEs, version control systems, and bug tracking tools
- A structured and detail-oriented way of working
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- The ability to work independently in an open and dynamic environment
- A proactive and self-motivated mindset with the ability to drive your own tasks
- Good English skills, both written and verbal
