• 12+ years experience conducting and managing diabetes related research, with significant expertise in supervising and mentoring M.Sc., Ph.D. and M.D. Ph.D. students (7 in total).
• 12+ years experience in bioimaging including: bioluminescence of live mice and tissue, confocal imaging of fixed tissue (sections and wholemount), up to 48 hours of confocal or multiphoton live imaging of reporter cell lines or mouse explants, laser ablation of mouse explants using multiphoton and laser capture microdissection of fixed sections for mRNA extraction.
• 12+ years experience in histology including: fixation, embedding (OCT, paraffin and agarose), sectioning (microtome and vibratome), staining (H&E, DAB and fluorescence), protocol optimization and troubleshooting.
• 10+ years experience utilizing strong scientific writing skills to generate successful peer reviewed research papers, reviews and grant proposals.
• 7+ years of teaching experience as a lecturer’s assistant developing and implementing three different courses in medical science and biology.
• 1+ years of experience in clinical trials and drug discovery as a project manager.
• 9+ years developing a solid clinical background in the Endocrine Department of Hadassah Ein Karem University Hospital as Pre-medical and a Ph.D. student.
• 5+ years experience as an Operation Officer in the Israeli Defense Force (reserve duty).
• 12+ years experience as a team leader in the Israeli Defense Force (mandatory and reserve duty).
